Gialiskari Beach
Gialiskari is a small, popular bay on the coastal road between Korissia and Vourkari — easy to reach, good for a swim at any point in the day, and particularly well-placed for catching the afternoon light.
The Beach
Gialiskari is a compact bay with sandy and pebbled sections, set on the curve of the road that links Kea’s two main northern settlements. It has a cosmopolitan edge in high season — close enough to both Korissia and Vourkari to attract visitors from either end — while remaining small enough to feel like a neighbourhood beach rather than a resort. It’s a good stop for a swim between the two villages, or a deliberate destination in the late afternoon when the light comes in from the west.
Getting There
Gialiskari sits on the road between Korissia and Vourkari, roughly 2 km from the port. It’s reachable by car, on foot as part of the coastal walk between the two villages, or by the seasonal bus. Parking is limited — walking or cycling from Korissia is a comfortable option.
